Denia
Among the largest and most well-known towns in Marina Alta are primarily Denia – a normal, medium-sized Spanish town that lives all year round and not just in season. Nor is it characterized by large contingents of Norwegians or other foreigners, but has preserved Spanish culture and environment. Of course, the great beaches and the many activities offered together with a wonderfully good climate mean that there are many tourists here also in the season, but here it feels more like a supplement than the disadvantage.
Javea
Xabia is the city’s name in the local language of Valencian, while Javea is the Spanish / International. Javea is first and foremost a “municipality” – a large municipality – and “the city” if we can call it “divided” into three – “old town” a few kilometers in and up in the country, “puerto” (the harbor) in the northern end of Javea Bay and “Arenales” (the famous beach and beach town at the southern end of the bay).
Jalon
The Jalon Valley, also known as the Xalo Valley is situated in the Marina Alta area in the Costa Blanca North and is quite simply stunning. The Marina Alta has a delightful mix of coastline and mountains, but it is its inland area that provides the great setting for this amazingly scenic day out.
The Costa Blanca average temperatures make this the perfect place to visit
Because of the Mediterranean climate, the Costa Blanca is blessed with over 300 days of sun per year. Throughout the year there is relatively little rainfall and every month the sun shows itself extensively. The Costa Blanca has been recognised as one of the healthiest regions to live in, by the World Health Organization (WHO). As a result of the microclimate that prevails, one can enjoy pleasant temperatures the entire year. The annual average temperature is 18º Celsius, which means that in the summer the temperature isn´t extremely high, especially because of the sea breeze, and the temperature in the winter will be relatively warm.
Smile and enjoy Lliber. Choose accommodation with or without swimming pool and enjoy your stay.
the beaches at the Costa Blanca are not dreamy ones with sand. But it can get hot in the afternoon. It is nice to enjoy a swim after a day exploring the coast and mountains. It is especially enjoyable if you are hiking as it will relax your muscles.
